Big Bass Blast vs Big Bass Hold & Spinner
Big Bass Blast and Big Bass Hold & Spinner are separate Pragmatic Play fishing slots. Blast emphasizes Wild multipliers and random assist mechanics. Hold & Spinner combines the familiar Fisherman collection round with a second sticky-coin bonus. This comparison uses Pragmatic Play's published descriptions and does not treat a short demo run as performance evidence.

How Big Bass Blast works
Blast can place Fisherman Wilds on reels one and five with a random 2×–10× multiplier in the base game. Three to five Scatters trigger five to nine Free Spins, and every seventh Wild collected during the feature adds five spins while moving the feature multiplier through 2×, 3× and 10×.
The Hook may pull in a third Scatter after two land. During the bonus, Dynamite or Bazooka events can create another chance to connect Fish Money symbols with a collecting Wild. These are random game events; there is no timing method that makes one arrive.
How Hold & Spinner differs
Hold & Spinner awards 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins from three, four or five Scatters. Its Fisherman collects the instant values shown on visible Fish Money symbols. If a Fisherman appears without fish values, the Bazooka can add Fish Money symbols. Four Fishermen are needed for the first retrigger and multiplier increase.
The game also has a separate Hold & Spinner feature. Three Coin symbols trigger it, the triggering Coins remain in place, and four respins are awarded. Landing another Coin resets the remaining respins. Diamond symbols can carry higher instant values. Pragmatic Play's launch announcement publishes a 10,000× maximum win for this title.
Which version should you try?
Try Big Bass Blast if…
You want the newer assist system, base-game Wild multipliers and a shorter starting Free Spins allocation. Read the Free Spins guide and symbols guide before comparing versions.
Try Hold & Spinner if…
You specifically want two different bonus formats: Fisherman Free Spins and a sticky-coin respin round. Its larger published maximum is a ceiling, not a forecast of a typical session.
Our verdict: Blast offers more named assist events around its collection mechanic, while Hold & Spinner offers the clearer structural difference of a second bonus. Neither game becomes more likely to pay because another session lost or a demo run won.
