Big Bass Blast vs Big Bass Bonanza 1000
Big Bass Blast and Big Bass Bonanza 1000 are different modern entries in Pragmatic Play’s fishing series. Bonanza 1000 is also not the original Big Bass Bonanza. This guide compares the rules the publisher currently lists, without suggesting that one game is more likely to produce a win in your next session.

How bonus entry differs
Both games use three to five scatters for normal feature entry, but they award different starting totals. Blast begins with five, seven or nine free spins. Bonanza 1000 begins with ten, fifteen or twenty. More starting spins do not establish a better expected result: the games also use different symbol values, event frequencies and feature designs.
Both have an assist when only two scatters appear. Blast describes a special Hook that may reel in the missing third scatter. Bonanza 1000 also gives two scatters a random chance to add the third. In either game, two scatters do not guarantee entry.
Wild collection and retrigger pace
Fisherman Wilds collect visible fish Money values in both games. Blast counts every seventh Wild in free spins, then adds five spins and advances its bonus multiplier. Bonanza 1000 uses every fourth Wild, adding ten spins and advancing through the same 2×, 3× and 10× stages.
The lower threshold in Bonanza 1000 does not make a full progression predictable. Symbol landing probabilities and the complete game math still determine how often a session reaches each level.
Where Blast is different
Blast extends collection into the base game. Its Fisherman Wilds can appear on reels one and five with a random multiplier from 2× to 10×, while fish Money symbols can show values up to 500×.
Blast also uses special assists in the bonus: when fish values arrive without a collector, or a collector arrives without fish values, Dynamite or Bazooka events can provide another chance to form an instant collection. These are random mechanics rather than buttons a player can time or force. The symbols and paytable guide explains each role.
Where Bonanza 1000 is different
Bonanza 1000’s defining number applies to individual fish Money symbols, which can display up to 1,000×. The publisher lists wins up to 20,000× for the game. Neither figure is a likely outcome or a promise of what a bonus will return.
The game also offers two bonus-buy options in selected markets, with Super Free Spins increasing the chance of 1,000× fish symbols. “Selected markets” matters: availability depends on location and operator configuration. Do not bypass regional restrictions to access a feature.
Which version should you try?
Try Big Bass Blast if…
You want to learn the base-game collection multipliers and the Hook, Dynamite and Bazooka assists. Use the demo guide where legally available, and treat free play as rules practice rather than a prediction.
Try Bonanza 1000 if…
You are comparing its longer starting bonus, four-Wild retrigger steps and 1,000× fish-symbol ceiling. Check the official demo or game information for the exact version offered in your location.
Our conclusion: these games emphasize different parts of the same collection formula. Blast adds more named assists and base-game multiplier activity; Bonanza 1000 emphasizes larger published fish values and a higher published total ceiling. Neither can be labeled “better” from a short demo run or previous win history.
